My project aims to create an environment that brings the stories of Melanie Martinez's albums to life, providing visitors with a unique and interactive encounter with her distinctive blend of pop music, it is an environment that not only entertains but also educates, and offers resources and information on organizations aligned with the thematic content of each song.
Visitors will explore the messages behind each song, gaining insights into the personal struggles, dark themes, and societal issues that Melanie Martinez writes into her lyrics. For example, in her song "Orange Juice," she talks about those who struggle with bulimia (eating disorder). My project can aim to help and find resources pertaining to that issue to help people overcome it. The purpose is to provide viewers with a comprehensive and engaging experience that goes beyond the surface of the music, enabling them to connect with the artist on a more profound level.
This project also aims to foster a sense of community among Melanie Martinez's fans, providing a space where they can come together to share their interpretations and experiences related to her music. This aspect reinforces the idea that music can serve as a powerful catalyst for connection and understanding, transcending boundaries and bringing people together in meaningful ways.

The goal was to then build an element from/based on your environment. I chose to build the dollhouse that showcases a dysfunctional family who hides their problems behind a facade of a perfect life.
