Apollo Theater: The Heart and Soul of Harlem is an innovative space to relive and learn about the history behind the Apollo Theater from the early 1900’s by creating an interactive experience that takes visitors into the performing and growing world of Harlem. Visitors will go around the exhibit through small displays and areas relating to the Apollo Theater starting from the early 1900s. The exhibition consists of five major areas that include vintage objects that relate back to the opening of the historic neo-classical theater known today as the Apollo Theater. The exhibition will have visitors experiencing different elements of the Apollo Theater while interacting with its history in a modern way.
